There are many reasons when and why individuals or families decide to either start researching their family history or add to a history already commenced.

We can help, either in starting your research from scratch or delving deeper into a family history already started, be it East Gippsland, Australia or the World.

The best way to know how we can help you on your family history journey is to complete the Research Request Form and visit our Resource Centre and talk to our friendly members or contact us.

If you are unable to attend our Resource Centre or are not confident to do your own research and would like us to do the research for you, complete the Research Request Form and for a fee, we can do the research for you.

Research Fees

Daily fee: $25.00
Day access to our Resource Cenre's member's help, advice and resources.

Research Request - $30.00 Members $15.00
2 hours research.  If you decide that you want us to continue the research, you will be charged at the rate of $30.0 (Members $15.00)

Please note:

Day Fee, Research Request and Hourly rate does not include printing, photocopying, purchase of certificates and postage. Prior to any additional charges, we will discuss with you if you wish to proceed.

A No, we have a daily use fee

Q Will I be able to receive guidance in how to research my family?
A Yes, our friendly and experienced volunteers are happy to assist.

Q Are you only able to assist with research on East Gippsland families?
A No, although we are focused on East Gippsland, we can assist with research not only locally, but also nationally and internationally.

Q How do I make an appointment for you to open outside your times?
